What We Do
The Golden Rules for Any Stain
Follow these steps immediately — before calling us
Never Rub — Always Blot
Rubbing forces the stain deeper into the pile and spreads it outward. Use a clean white cloth and press firmly, working from the outside edge inward.
Use Cold Water Only
Hot water permanently sets protein-based stains (blood, egg, dairy). Always use cold water for initial blotting — leave the heat to our professional extraction machines.
Act Within 30 Minutes
Most stains begin chemically bonding to carpet fibres within 30 minutes. The faster you act, the better the outcome — even if just blotting with a dry cloth.
Avoid Supermarket Sprays
Most retail stain removers contain bleaching agents or surfactants that can permanently discolour or damage carpet fibres, especially on wool or berber carpets.
Stain Won't Budge?
Our Manchester technicians carry specialist enzyme treatments and industrial extraction equipment for every stain type — including the ones DIY products make worse.
